Cortex uses an organisations patient administration system for patient admissions, transfers and discharges.
- If a patient is missing or is displayed under an incorrect Location or Team in Cortex, this may be due to incorrect admission information entered, this can either be corrected by a user with access to the patient administration system or by contacting your organisations IT help desk.
- You will be able to search a patient under ‘Manage my patients’ if they have been previously admitted. You should still contact the organisations IT help desk to resolve the issue of patient being displayed in incorrect Location/ under incorrect Team, or not displaying at all in Cortex.
Notes:
- It is important that patients are admitted under correct teams so Consultant lists are up to date and correct staff available for task delegation.
