If you are logged in to Cortex, you are able to receive notifications.
- In you are not currently in the Cortex app, then your device will pop up a notification on the front screen. This does not provide any patient related information
- If you are using Cortex, then it will be added to your 'Notifications' box
Cortex currently will send a notification for the following reasons:
- You have been delegated a task
- You have been mentioned in a comment related to a task
- Under settings you have subscribed to notifications for 'New Ward Round Notes' for a watched patient, and a Ward round note has been completed
- Under settings you have subscribed to notifications for 'New radiology results (CT, MRI, US) and a patient on your list has a new result available
Notifications will continue so long as you are logged in to Cortex, no matter your status in the Circle of Care
You will stop receiving notifications if:
- you sign out of Cortex
- someone else signs in on the device you were using
You can receive Cortex notifications on your Apple Watch if you turn this on in Apple Watch settings.
