If a clinician has never used Patient track before, and the first time they try is via Cortex, it may not work for them.  The following steps should address this issue:



  • Go to CDHB intranet page on desktop

  • Scroll down to section entitled "clinical applications (big black letters on left hand side)

  • Look down the list in blue letters to the second to bottom name which says "patient track", and click on this

  • This will open patient track and user will log in.

  • If this is the first time they have logged in a screen comes up about roles and user availability. if this screen doesn't come up it should be fine

  • Answer questions and then click on the user availability and tick area.

  • This page should go away and you can navigate into patient track

  • Once this done patient track will work in cortex.
