Cortex has a simple "hot potato" rule regarding task ownership.
- If you create a task, you are responsible for it.
- If you accept a delegated task, you take over responsibility for it.
- Only a task owner can remove a task
- Only a task owner can delegate a task
Therefore, an incomplete task will always be shown in the 'My Tasks' view of the current task owner.
NOTES:
- An incomplete task will also be shown in the 'Team Tasks' view of the team the patient is currently admitted under.
- If you want to takeover ownership of a task, open the task, Tap the action menu button (bottom right of screen)
- Tap 'Take Ownership'
- It is good practice to handover (re-delegate to, or oncoming user take ownership of) any outstanding tasks as appropriate
