Cortex 3.5 is a really exciting release - a few new pieces of functionality including Radiology images - and some behind the scenes work to setup the new Cortex Clinical Document engine.
Radiology Images
The biggest new thing that you'll notice is the ability to see a patients Radiology images. This is triggered via the redesigned menu in the patient view
Tapping "Radiology Results" opens a new view (Inteleconnect) which loads the patient's list of studies. You can tap into a study and see more detail, including a viewer to scroll through images.
Please note : Intelleconnect is a 3rd party system and any queries about its functionality should be directed to the PACS team in CDHB Radiology. Also, scrolling images on iPhone is currently broken as the scroll bar isn't visible.
Health Pathways
There's now a link accessible in the "Briefcase" which allows you to open up CDHB's hospital health pathways.
Cortex Health Reporter
We love feedback, so we've made this even easier. Having a great day using Cortex? Tap the smiley face to let us know!
If you're having any issues with the app, tap the frowning face and you can send us some specifics.
Circle of Care
We've made some more improvements to the display of users in the Circle of Care which should hopefully lead to a more accurate representation of who is currently actively looking after a patient.
New Clinical Documents
Finally, but most excitingly, Cortex 3.5 enables our new native Clinical Documents. You can now review a note in full screen - just tap the full screen icon at the bottom of the note preview.
We'll start rolling out new versions of notes over the next couple of weeks. They're faster, more powerful - and finally... an easy to use Round Lead function :-)
